Our Motto: Stoke Live, Live Free 🇺🇸

Hi! My name is Jamie & I am the mama behind Tuck & Char Co.! I grew up around the water & playing sports. I was a huge tomboy! I have always loved any activity on a board! Surf, skate, snow, wake skate, wake surf, etc.

I met my husband while we were both beach lifeguards & started dating officially a year later. I was also teaching full time during the year (the best subject out there can you guess it?! … Physical Education of course!)

We got married in 2019 and bought our first home in 2020 right before the pandemic. Got pregnant with our son and he was born in January of 2021. Teaching during this time was virtual & when we went back for the 2021-2022 school year my district mandated the Covid vaccine.

I followed my conscience and said no for my own personal beliefs. Filed for a religious exemption & was denied (among with many others!) and was placed on indefinite unpaid leave aka: fired. No more teaching. I miss the kids but not the politics in teaching.

I was lucky to find a career with Redfin Real Estate! (Thankfully I had kept my RE license active!) and have been with Redfin in sales ever since & I am so grateful & blessed to have a job!

We got pregnant with our 2nd blessing Miss Charlotte and she was born in Feb 2023! While post-partum, my husband and I talked about starting a small company… little did he know (although I mean come on, he knows me) but I just went for it.  It started with one hat sale on Etsy…then some smiley patch hats… and boom! Here we are today! In somehow, someway I was led to create rad pieces for kiddos and adults and cannot wait to keep expanding and growing!

I am stoked to have you here! Thank you for supporting our Family Business.  I hope to eventually grow my business to the point where I can be a stay at home mom + business owner working fully for myself!  But for now, I will keep working for Redfin in sales!

Xoxo,

J.
